LEFT MPs slammed a government cover up today as ministers delayed publication of further papers relating to the disastrous appointment of Peter Mandelson as ambassador to Washington.

They were speaking out after the Commons intelligence and security committee raised concerns that Downing Street was holding back some key documents and redacting others.

Labour’s Kim Johnson said: “It appears that No 10 is still covering up Mandelson’s dodgy dealings.”

She pointed in particular to the disgraced Blairite’s ties to US big tech monopoly Palantir.
