Whenever a bright, exemplary youth joins the armed struggle and ultimately makes the sacrifice for the liberation of the Filipino people, the NTF-Elcac wastes no time twisting the narrative. They desperately paint our martyrs as brainwashed fools who can be easily manipulated, conveniently ignoring that they were brilliant, critical minds driven by deep love for the masses.

This lazy narrative deliberately ignores a fundamental truth: the youth do not take up arms on a whim. They do so because they are paying attention. When you look at the Philippines today under the Marcos-Duterte regime, you do not see a functioning democracy; you see a masterclass in institutional corruption and impunity. Both the President and Vice-President of the country evade any semblance of accountability, from the malversation of confidential and intelligence funds to multi-billion-peso flood control scams.

The reactionary state loves to preach about the “rule of law” and the power of dialogue. Yet, the moment the people actually use these peaceful avenues to demand their rights, the mask of democracy is violently ripped away.

When workers, peasants, and students march on the streets to demand living wages and genuine land reform, they are met with water cannons, batons, and shields. Activists, union leaders, and human rights defenders are systematically slapped with fabricated charges, such as illegal possession of firearms and explosives, to suppress them. Most dangerously, state-sponsored red-tagging, a prelude of one’s death sentence, has been normalized in the country.

When every legal avenue for genuine systemic change is criminalized and met with state terror, it is an absolute necessity for the people to forge a new path, especially the youth whose future is at stake. Historically, a state that rules through the barrel of a gun can only be effectively answered by the organized, armed strength of a revolutionary movement.

Moreover, the National Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (NTF-Elcac) hypocrisy recently reached unimaginable height when they blamed the CPP-NPA-NDF for a grieving family’s refusal to enter Negros Island and claim Ka Poy’s remains. The truth, as always, is much uglier than their press releases. It is the state itself who weaponizes family members against each other.

We do not need to look far to see this state terror in action. Take the heartbreaking case of Vince Francis “Ka Poy” Dingding. His family was terrorized by the AFP and NTF-Elcac right in Cebu City. Just yesterday, around 6:00 AM, military troops swarmed their residence, intimidating his loved ones while feeding them lies meant to isolate Ka Poy’s revolutionary legacy from his family. These mercenaries showed no humanity, completely ignoring that Ka Poy’s mother is battling colon cancer and under strict medical orders to avoid stress. Ultimately, the family was forced into signing the very letter now being paraded across social media pages.

Let us also not forget that “Baby Marx” remains hostage in the hands of these blood-sucking institutions, even after the 79th IB murdered the child’s mother, “Ka Jandy.” The NTF-Elcac relentlessly stalks, threatens, and harasses the kin of Red fighters, even resorting to the monstrous tactic of abducting young children to blackmail their parents into surrendering.

The NTF-Elcac and its psychological warfare machineries can repeat their black propaganda a million times on social media, but the masses are not buying it. Why? Because the Filipino people live the reality of oppression every single day and they know the nature of this deceptive organization.

The NTF-Elcac is an organization that cannot survive in the light of truth. It thrives only in the darkness of blind obedience and fascism. The ruling class terrifies itself over socially aware youth and critical thinkers. They are deeply wary of an educated generation because they know that enlightenment in this semi-colonial and semi-feudal system will prompt them to topple this system completely. They stand in contrast to the US-Marcos II puppets, the AFP, PNP, and NTF-ELCAC. Those uniform-wearing mercenaries operate purely on blind obedience, their eyes fixed solely on the blood money and rewards dangled by their imperialist masters.
