ENGLAND secured a fifth successive Grand Slam with a 43-28 victory over France in Bordeaux, extending their winning run to 38 Tests and sealing an eighth consecutive Women’s Six Nations title.

The Red Roses, fresh from last year’s World Cup success, were made to work for victory as France mounted a spirited fightback inspired by scrum-half Pauline Bourdon Sansus.
