A group of far-right flag-fanatics have been filmed attacking passersby in Birmingham before they ran over a man in a hit-and-run attack. The victim was hospitalised with a broken leg that required surgery to insert a pin into the shattered bone.
Around ten residents had gone along the main road in the Stirchley area of the city removing flags put up by the group. The ‘patriot’ thugs took offence and turned up to show their love for England by assaulting peaceful residents:

Far-right denial
The hit-and-run victim was run down shortly after the filmed incidents. Police recovered an abandoned van nearby, which witnesses said bore the same ‘Raise the Colours’ logo. The group has denied that it condones violence.
Further far-right violence is feared on Saturday 16 May as supporters of fascist ‘Tommy Robinson’ march across London, protected by police.
