SPEEDWAY: Jack Holder top-scored with 10+3 points as Sheffield turned in a blistering second-half performance to thump defending Premiership champions Ipswich Witches 52-38 on Thursday evening. The Witches have lost both of their opening away Premiership fixtures. The other midweek fixture saw Kye Thomson bag a huge 18+1 points but end up on the losing side as Northampton slipped up 41-47 at home to King’s Lynn in the Knock-Out Cup.
