reform

A Reform UK candidate who praised the rape of Sikh women has just won a local election seat.

Reform UK racist gammon Stuart John Prior won the Sweyne Park & Grange seat in Rochford, Essex. He also previously said it was ‘good’ that Sikh women were raped and said white people were ‘the master race’.

Let it be known, Reform UK in their incompetence have ensured a white suprematist has been elected.

He calls white people “the master race”.

He says “Muslims are dirt”,

He said “There cannot be a genocide against Muslims. It’s only ever self defence against those rats.”… https://t.co/UdzdJuEz6z

Essex elects man who celebrated rape

Rochford was one of the councils that declared their results in the early hours of May 8. Prior received 911 votes, despite his hatefulness being exposed.

As the Canary previously reported, Prior was confronted by the Mirror and Hope Not Hate to answer for his own hateful, racist tweets:

Watch one of Nigel Farage’s Reform candidates react as racist tweets from his own X account – including one apparently excusing the rape of a Sikh woman and one that declares white people are “the master race” – are read to him.

The account has since been deleted, but Hope Not Hate was able to pull the tweets from an online archive.

Following the rapes of two Sikh women in October 2025, MP Zarah Sultana tweeted:

On Saturday, a woman of Punjabi heritage was raped in a racist attack in Walsall.

Last month, a Sikh woman was raped in a racist attack in Oldbury.

These horrifying attacks show how racism and misogyny feed each other — fuelled by the rise of fascism and hate.

As a woman of colour, I know how real and frightening this threat is.

We must stand together — against racism, fascism and misogyny — and fight for a socialist society built on equality, justice and solidarity.

When confronted with the fact that he tweeted ‘good, reap it’ in reply to this tweet, Prior asked:

How do you know that’s me?

To which the interviewer, Simon Murphy pointed out that Prior wasn’t exactly anonymous in his racism:

You’ve tweeted a picture of your house on this, on this account. … This, this house. … It shows that plant there. You’ve got a dog haven’t you? … You’ve tweeted a picture of that dog. from this account, so that’s how we know it’s yours.

Faced with this surely undeniable proof, Prior still denied it.

Prior’s other racist tweets included saying Black people had lower intelligence, and in relation to white women wearing braids:

As the master race they can do whatever they want

Which is ridiculous when you consider how Reform treats its women.

Reform doesn’t care if councillors celebrate rape

Following this exposé, calls came for Reform leadership to denounce Prior and suspend him.

Reform candidate in Essex, Stuart Prior, has celebrated the rape of a sikh woman in comments he made.
Has @Nigel_Farage @TiceRichard @ZiaYusufUK @RobertJenrick condemned his comments? pic.twitter.com/CkckirhiW9

As the Guardian reported:

Four Labour MPs, Sarah Coombes, Antonia Bance, Gurinder Singh Josan and Alex Ballinger, from the metropolitan borough of Sandwell, West Midlands (in which Oldbury is situated), sent a joint letter to Reform’s leader in Sandwell, Ray Nock, calling on him to condemn the comments.

This letter reads:

The community in Sandwell was shaken to its core last year after a Sikh woman was raped in a racially aggravated attack. It has now emerged that a Reform candidate in Essex, Stuart Prior, has celebrated this attack.

Will you, as the leader of the Reform party in Sandwell, condemn this disgusting behaviour and will you write to Nigel Farage requesting Stuart Prior be immediately withdrawn as a Reform party candidate?

Farage or any of the other senior members of Reform UK did not comment on Prior, and as a result he sailed through the election cycle.

Reform will not protect ANY women

It’s been clear from the beginning that Reform UK has not vetted its candidates, but allowing someone so abhorrent to become a councillor shows what Reform really thinks about women.

And any woman who thinks these bastards will protect them will soon learn just who these fascists protect.
