That’s kind of a coincidence, as a different article currently a few above this one on my feed has the title:

Why is everything around trump costing $72B a pop?
Wait so they lied? Or was he just joking and we don’t get it?
There’s gotta be a simple explanation here that doesn’t make me look like clown shoes for buying thousands in trump merch and parading it around like cheerleader.
That number will only go up with time, given how quagmire-esque it has already become.
The only question I really have is whether any Democrats running for Congress are interested in curbing presidential war powers. Because I don’t see any end for this in sight. Not in 2027. Not in 2029. Maybe in 2033, if we’re lucky.
