Box Elder County commissioners in Utah voted unanimously in favor of a massive hyperscale data center backed by Canadian celebrity investor Kevin O’Leary on Monday. The data center, if built, would be the largest in the world. The commissioners were booed and heckled by opponents of the project, with hundreds chanting, “People over profits!”
