Reform candidate described white people as the 'master race'. He did not come across as a superior being when confronted with his own words

As we’ve reported, Reform UK has had endless problems with its candidate selection for the 2026 local elections. What we mean by this is that Reform doesn’t seem to be vetting its candidates at all, and as a result these candidates are being exposed for all sorts of things.

Now, the Mirrorand Hope not Hate have confronted one candidate with his own words:

Reform have a master racist

In the video above, reporter Simon Murphy confronts Reform UK’s Stuart Prior. It begins with Prior stating:

I’m definitely not a racist, no.

Somewhat at odds with this, Murphy notes that Prior has:

spoken about white people as the master race.

Prior responds:

I don’t recall that at all.

Hope not Hate pulled the posts from an online archive, with the account having since been deleted:

Murphy later says:

And then here, there’s… an ex-Labour MP who’s tweeting about a woman of Punjabi heritage being raped in a racist attack, and you’ve put “good, reap it”.

A truly sadistic thing to say. As such, it’s understandable Prior would deny it was him when confronted with his own words like this. As Murphy would explain, however:

Do you know how we know that this is you? Do you know how we know that this is you Stuart? … You’ve tweeted a picture of your house on this, on this account. … This, this house. … It shows that plant there. You’ve got a dog haven’t you? … You’ve tweeted a picture of that dog. from this account, so that’s how we know it’s yours.

Prior claimed he didn’t “recall these tweets”. So not the most convincing denial then.

Murphy also pointed out that Prior said:

immigrants are cancer.

Prior’s response:

This looks like it’s something that’s been kind of created against me.

We can’t imagine who would have created this false account on the off chance Prior would later run to be a Reform candidate.

Inhuman

As reported by Hope not Hate, Prior also:

  • Said “Muslims are dirt”.
  • Claimed “There cannot be a genocide against Muslims. It’s only ever self defence against those rats”.
  • Said Black people like to ‘play the victim’ and complain about the slave trade.

In one particularly disturbing section, Hope not Hate reported:

On 21 September, he responded, “No one cares. Die,” to a post about plastic bags having to be used instead of nappies for babies in Gaza; … on 1 February this year, he described a video of a Palestinian man searching for his child in rubble as “hilarious”.

And Prior is far from the only disturbing Reform candidate being exposed:

Nick Cooper is Reform UK’s chairman of the Rayleigh and Wickford Branch. He’s also agent for Reform UK candidates in the local elections.

Here he is dressed up as a Nazi SS Officer.
