That assumption is incorrect. It’s uncommon for non-violent felony convictions to result in removal of that right.
Edit: way off on this one. Default is that it’s taken away. For some felonies, all you have to do is ask for it to be reinstated. As someone in the Epstein class, all Donald would have to do is ask Ron DeSantis for it. He hasn’t done so.
