In the new book, Muskism: A Guide for the Perplexed, authors Quinn Slobodian and Ben Tarnoff look at the worldview that shaped Elon Musk and the ideology that has coalesced around him. They call Muskism “an operating system for the 21st century.” Musk runs rocket company SpaceX, AI startup xAI, electric car maker Tesla and the social media platform X, formerly Twitter.

“The Moon Is A Harsh Mistress” by Robert A. Heinlein is the book most tech bro Libertarians point to.
The funny thing is is that the perfect society the author envisions depends on a massive government system of transport and infrastructure controlled by a single computer network.
It also ends with the people voting in taxes and government inspectors.
It’s a pretty good read, but the system it proposes is unsustainable.
