Pillaging, raping and now looting.
It’s been the same since time immemorial. I wonder if we will ever learn. Of the hundreds of thousands of lives affected by all this, only the top dozen will benefit. The victims pay with their lives, livelihoods or dignity. The perpetrators pay with their conscience and their humanity. Only the psychopaths running the show get anything they want.
I dunno. It’s a half finished thought late at night. But a desperate one.
