U.S.-Israeli bombings have internally displaced millions of Iranians since the war began. Meanwhile, the Iranian government has paid for them to stay in hotels while they await to return home. BT visited one such four-star hotel in central Tehran, which hosts dozens of families. Tehran’s municipality is not only paying for food and lodging in these hotels, it has vowed to assist in the reconstruction of their homes. The hotels also provides evening cultural and entertainment events for the families to battle the emotional toll of war.
