“A VOTE for Scottish Labour in this election is not an endorsement of Keir Starmer,” Anas Sarwar told the Scottish TUC Congress today. “It’s not about two years of a Labour government, but 20 years of an SNP government.”The Scottish Labour leader was at pains to distance himself from the Prime Minister, who was addressing MPs on the Peter Mandelson vetting scandal just as Mr Sarwar, who has already called on him to resign over that, spoke to trade unionists in Dundee.
