The Israeli ambassador to Italy was enraged to see the latest cover of L’Espresso, a current affairs magazine. Ambassador Peled said the photo, which shows a heavily armed Israeli soldier grimacing at a Palestinian woman with the title “L’Abuso” or “Abuse”, promotes “stereotypes and hatred”. The problem, says Aaron Bastani on Novara Live, is that the “hatred” of the Israeli man is no fabrication. The photo speaks for itself. “A snapshot of reality is about as impartial as you can get,” Aaron adds.
