Congressman Jamie Raskin (D-Maryland) has introduced new legislation that would make it easier to invoke a little-known constitutional provision to remove the president of the United States, if it is determined that they can no longer function in the role for reasons related to their physical or mental health. The 25th Amendment to the Constitution deals with presidential succession.
