An activist broke into an airport in Ireland and damaged a US military plane on Saturday. Videos circulating on social media show a person striking a C-130 Hercules transport plane with a hammer or hatchet at Shannon Airport in County Clare. The activist was arrested shortly afterwards. According to X user Shannonwatch, activists staging protests at the airport over the weekend held banners reading “US military out of Shannon” and waved Palestinian flags.
