NETBALL: Super League table-toppers Loughborough Lightning held off Nottingham Forest 75-73 to extend their unbeaten start to seven games. They remain three points clear of second-placed London Pulse, who beat the Mavericks 56-46 while Manchester, in third, comfortably saw off Leeds 63-49. Sophie Egbaran netted 22 goals as bottom of the table Birmingham gained their first points of the season with a narrow 48-47 win over the Dragons.
