Students meet with Congressman Marc Pocan.

By World BEYOND War, April 12, 2026

World BEYOND War and friends and allies in Madison, Wisconsin, are pushing hard for peace through a variety of tactics.

University students just met with Congressman Marc Pocan who said he would reintroduce a War Powers Resolutiion this coming week and would only need two Republicans in the House to do the right thing for it to pass.

On March 25, the University of Wisconsin student government passed a divestment resolution by a large margin! Students for Justice in Palestine UW and dozens of other student groups were part of this big win.
