MEN’S FOOTBALL: Arsenal’s 1-0 win over Porto has ensured that there will again be five English Premier League teams in next year’s Champions League. Liverpool currently sit fifth in the Premier League, a point ahead of Chelsea with both Brentford and Everton two points further back. All nine English teams in Europe this season reached the last 16 of their competitions although only five are in the quarter-finals.
