On March 28, U.S.-Israeli strikes targeted Iran University of Science and Technology, completely destroying its engineering college. The Department of Physics and Department of Cultural and Islamic Studies also sustained major damage. According to Iranians, U.S.-Israeli attacks on universities and scientists is a way of targeting the country’s development in the technical fields, which forms the basis of their defense and advanced missile program.
