Sirens blared on Thursday as a projectile struck the Israeli city of Petah Tikva, about 10km east of Tel Aviv. No initial injuries were reported. The Times of Israel reported that an Iranian ballistic missile had caused damage to industrial buildings and left a large crater in the ground. The shockwave heavily damaged nearby buildings, it added.
