NIGEL FARAGE sacked Reform UK’s housing spokesman today after his “deeply inappropriate” comments on the Grenfell fire drew condemnation across the political spectrum.Simon Dudley said in an interview with Inside Housing that regulations following the Grenfell fire in 2017, which killed 72 people, had gone too far and “everyone dies in the end.”While admitting the blaze was a “tragedy” Mr Dudley, a former developer, suggested the pendulum had “swung too far the wrong way” on fire safety and building rules.
