Israel killed more journalists than any other nation in 2025 - the deadliest year on record for news and media workers. Since October 2023, the Israeli military has killed more journalists and media workers in Gaza than in both World Wars, the US Civil War, the Korean War, the Vietnam War, the wars in former Yugoslavia and the war in Afghanistan combined.
