SPAIN star Lamine Yamal has spoken out about the “intolerable” Islamophobic chanting heard during his side’s friendly against Egypt on Tuesday night.

The Barcelona winger appeared visibly upset by the chanting at the Cornella-El Prat Stadium in his home city.

The Spanish football federation condemned the acts, while Catalan regional police said they were investigating.

Yamal posted on Instagram today, saying: “I am a Muslim. Yesterday at the stadium the chant ‘the one who doesn’t jump is a Muslim’ was heard.
