UNISON social care and housing support workers at Blue Triangle Housing Association have taken to the picket lines to fight pay cuts.
The workers, who operate 36 services across 12 local authorities, walked out as part of a long-running dispute after the employer tabled 2 per cent for 2024-25 and 1 per cent for 2025-26, despite CPI inflation only falling below 2 per cent for one month over the period.
Blue Triangle support worker and Unison rep Robbie Burgess said: “Workers have had enough of being treated like an afterthought.
