An estimated 8.5 million people from the US and Europe joined the third “No Kings” protest on March 28. “No Kings” is a broad action opposing the Donald Trump regime’s fascism and anti-people policies.
This people’s protest condemgned Trump’s “king-like” conduct—acting on his whims with impunity, such as unilaterally launching wars in the Middle East, the violent pursuit of migrants and immigrants by Immigration and Customs Enforcement, his cuts to social services, and the enrichment of his family and allied big corporations.
Up to 3,100 protest actions across 50 US states were recorded—500 times more than the previous “No Kings” protest in October 2025. Two million more people joined this time. Hundreds of thousands took part in actions in New York City, Washington DC, Minnesota, Chicago, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Nashville, Dallas, and Denver. Thousands also joined protests across Hawaii’s four islands, where they called the action “No Dictators.” Even conservative states such as Idaho, Wyoming, Montana, Utah, South Dakota, Louisiana, Pennsylvania, Georgia, and Arizona saw protest actions. Outside the US, anti-Trump rallies were held in France, Portugal, Germany, Italy, and Greece.
National-democratic organizations in the US and the Tanggol Migrante Movement joined and helped organize the protests.
In Los Angeles, police arrested 74 people after the activity, while nine were detained in Denver after police violently dispersed the protest.
