Israeli police attacked dozens of peaceful protesters in Tel Aviv opposing the US and Israel’s war on Iran on Saturday. Thousands of people protested across Tel Aviv, Haifa and Jerusalem, with at least 18 people arrested. The Jerusalem Post reported that for the first time, “anti-government organisations” participated in the protests. Radical Bloc, a group of leftwing activists in Tel Aviv, said: “For the first time since the beginning of the war on Iran, more moderate camps joined us. “We stood against the Zionists’ ethnic cleansing of Lebanon, the aggression against Iran and the ongoing genocide in Gaza.”
