A toddler was rescued by the Iranian Red Crescent after a US-Israeli airstrike hit a residential area of Tehran on Saturday. US-Israeli strikes in Iran have killed more than 230 children and injured a further 1,800 since late February, the Iranian health ministry said. Israel struck two of Iran’s largest steel mills on Saturday as well as two Iranian nuclear sites, while Iran launched attacks against industrial and military targets in US-allied Gulf nations. At least 12 US military personnel were wounded, two of them seriously, after Iran attacked an airbase in Saudi Arabia, the Associated Press reported on Friday.
