COMPATRIOTS-NDFP and its country chapters globally give its highest revolutionary salute to the New People’s Army (NPA) as it marks its 57th founding anniversary today, the 29th of March 2026. We are inspired by their revolutionary commitment and dedication to wholeheartedly and resolutely serve the people in the struggle against state fascism, bureaucrat capitalism, domestic feudalism, and US imperialism. We honor and give our highest salute to all martyrs who offered their lives in service to the people, including the red fighters who joined the revolution from among the ranks of overseas Filipinos. Their sacrifices have paved the way for thousands more to carry on the armed struggle until victory.

By continuing to arduously wage the protracted people’s war, the NPA under the absolute leadership of the Communist Party of the Philippines proves that the US-Marcos Jr. puppet regime is failing in its counter-revolutionary efforts to crush the people’s army and its revolutionary mass base. The NPA’s steadfast commitment to upholding the Third Rectification Movement will all the more ensure the further strengthening, growth, and advance of the people’s democratic revolution.

The advance of the people’s war is needed more than ever. The US imperialist and Zionist Israeli war of aggression against Iran has dragged the entire world into crisis. In West Asia, the lives and livelihood of over 2.4 million Filipino migrant workers are under direct threat. Our demands for swift action, protection, and relief have been met with inaction and incompetence from the Marcos regime. Worse, the regime continues to intensify its Labor Export Program, which only reinforces the same exploitative system that forces millions of us into mortal danger abroad. The fact that some migrant workers would choose to live in a war zone than return to the Philippines because of massive unemployment and increasing poverty shows the sheer failure of the semi-colonial and semi-feudal ruling state.

The ensuing oil crisis caused by the war, combined with the Marcos regime’s subservience to imperialist dictates, has plunged the toiling masses into hunger and debt. In the Philippines, transport workers and PUV drivers, together with other basic sectors of our society, have launched nationwide strikes in response to the oil price hikes. Overseas Filipinos across the world also joined in the strike efforts by staging protest actions and noise barrages. Together, we reject the Marcos regime’s band-aid “solutions” and publicity stunts meant to appease the people’s anger. We demand to scrap the Oil Deregulation Law, the Value Added Tax, Fuel Excise Tax, and other neoliberal policies that burden Filipino workers and their families.

The ruling class of compradors, big landlords, and the bureaucrat capitalists cannot be trusted to resolve the current economic crisis. The Filipino people are left with no other recourse but to wage armed revolution and advance the national democratic struggle as a just solution in dismantling US imperialism, bureaucrat capitalism, and domestic feudalism. COMPATRIOTS-NDFP calls upon all overseas Filipinos to mark this 57th anniversary of the NPA by making the decision to go home and serve the people’s democratic revolution directly in the countryside. Let us not watch from afar as we, our families, and our people bear the brunt of crisis, plunder, and state fascism back home. Let us choose to stay and fight rather than being forced abroad contract after contract. Let us cherish the NPA by joining their ranks and taking up the struggle directly.

End the corrupt, oppressive, fascist, and puppet US-Marcos regime!

End US imperialist war and aggression! Struggle against the economic and political crisis!
Long live the Communist Party of the Philippines!
Long live the New People’s Army!

Long live the National Democratic Front!

Long live the Compatriots – NDFP!
Wage the Protracted People’s War!
Sagot sa kahirapan, Digmang bayan!
