Venezuelans took to the streets in Caracas Monday to call for an end to U.S. sanctions and the release of President Nicolás Maduro and First Combatant Cilia Flores, with Maduro’s son Nicolás Maduro Guerra stating that the two remained “full of spirit, full of strength.” Maduro and Flores are scheduled to appear in a New York court this Thursday, where their lawyers are expected to seek the dismissal of drug trafficking charges.
