On Monday, community members in Atlanta protested Trump’s deployments of ICE to at Hartsfield-Jackson International and dozens of other airports across the country. Due to a partial government shutdown over ICE reforms, TSA workers have gone unpaid since Feb. 14, which has led to staff shortages resulting in hours-long security lines and missed flights. Instead of paying TSA workers, the Trump administration has sent ICE agents to tackle airport congestion.
