LEFT Labour MP Richard Burgon announced today he is joining the emergency aid flotilla to break the US siege on Cuba to provide critical medical equipment to the island.

The Leeds East representative has joined activists, elected officials and trade unionists from around the world on their mission to bring life-saving supplies to the Cuban people.

“Donald Trump must not be allowed to make millions of ordinary Cubans suffer,” Mr Burgon said.

“That’s why we’re going on this emergency delegation for the practical purpose of delivering medical aid.
