Venezuela’s acting president Delcy Rodriguez visited the El Maizal commune in Simón Planas municipality in Lara state as part of celebrations for its 17th anniversary. In her speech, Rodriguez reaffirmed the unity and resistance of the Venezuelan people against heightened U.S. imperialism since the January 3 attacks and kidnapping of President Nicolas Maduro and First Lady Cilia Flores. Rodriguez has been making visits to the thousands of communes across Venezuela this month.
