This is a corruption of our elections.” Chicago police arrested several @sunrisemvmt activists sitting outside of AIPAC’s Chicago office on Thursday. The activists were protesting AIPAC’s interference in upcoming primary elections. Due to widespread outrage about the genocide in Gaza, AIPAC donations have increasingly become a liability for pro-Israel Democrats. In response, AIPAC is using shell PACs like “Elect Chicago Women” to continue bankrolling their preferred candidates.
