Madeleine has been involved in campaigns about social justice and environmental protection since her teens.  It was in her late twenties that she managed to merge her sailing lifestyle with activism & campaigning, & she has been doing so ever since. Madeleine’s sea-faring career has taken her to all corners of the world.

Madeleine was the captain of the Zaytouna-Oliva, the Women’s Boat to Gaza in 2016.

She is from Tasmania.
