Four Palestinians from the same family were massacred by the Israeli occupation forces (IOF), who opened fire on their vehicle, with dozens of gunshots. The incident happened at dawn on 15 March, in the village of Tamoun, South of Tubas city, in the Northern occupied West Bank. A father, a mother, and two of their children were shot and killed.

To hide the evidence of their horrific crime, the IOF then towed away the car.

The martyrs were taken to the Turkish Government Hospital in Tubas . They are: Ali Khaled Sayel Bani Odeh, 37, his wife Widad Osman Aqi Bani Odeh, 35, and two of their children, five year old Muhammad, and seven year old Othman. According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, all were shot in the face and head, while Ali was also shot in the chest and left hand.
According to the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) who took the martyrs to the Turkish Government Hospital in Tubas, the IOF first prevented them accessing the wounded. They published the following statement:
Occupation forces are preventing our teams from retrieving the injured from inside the vehicle in Tammoun, and are ordering the PRCS teams to leave the location.
Two other children from the family survived the attack but sustained injuries.
The Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, released a statement on the killing, in which it claimed that the occupation’s policy of shedding Palestinian blood will only strengthen the Palestinian people’s “determination, steadfastness, and defiance, and fuel the state of anger that will continue until the occupation ends.” Hamas also called on Palestinians in the West Bank to “escalate confrontation with the occupation at all points of contact, unite ranks, and activate all forms of resistance to make the occupation pay the price for its crimes.”
