President Trump is claiming victory in Iran despite not accomplishing any of his stated objectives. The Iranian government is still intact, and Tehran continues to strike Tel Aviv, along with U.S. bases, infrastructure, and embassies in the Gulf. The Strait of Hormuz also remains effectively closed, with two nearby oil tankers attacked by Iran Wednesday night in the Persian Gulf.
