    For some reason, “patriotism” (or whatever) creeps back in and US citizens once again believe their regime, even though they should have known long ago that everything coming out of the White House these days is a blatant lie.

        Those voices always seem to be suddenly amplified at just the right moment. Like before the 2024 election, a lot of noise about genocide (only the one, and only the one that could be in any way blamed on Biden or Harris). Election over? Silence.
