In the last few weeks, I’ve been less productive than usual, partly for deeply depressing reasons, although also partly because of good stuff I can’t announce quite yet. (Big upcoming writing project.) I’ve mostly been able keep up the Friday Pick notes and the Substack Philosophy Class, but I haven’t been doing the Sunday essays. Many apologies for that. I do actually have one that’s about half-written now that I should be able to put out next week, called “Bibles for Brandy and Profits for Free.” (It’s an exploration of the relationship between Marx’s theory of value and his account of capitalist exploitation.) Here’s Andy’s1 artwork for that:
Meanwhile, though, I’m unlocking “The Liar Paradox and the Philosophy of Logic,” which receded behind the Philosophy for the People paywall several months ago.
Enjoy!
Thanks for reading Philosophy for the People w/Ben Burgis! This post is public so feel free to share it.
Speaking of Andy, you should donate to his GoFundMe so he’ll be fully able to produce this stuff again!
