Khurram Musti Khan is an anti-war and pro-Palestine activist. He is Organizer of Friends of Palestine Canada, co-organizer, Milton Palestine Action Committee and lobby corps member of Canadians for Justice and Peace in the Middle East.
Khurram founded Friends of Palestine Canada with a group of Palestinian and pro-Palestinian friends and supporters back in November 2023 to call for an end to the genocide in Gaza and occupation in Palestine. He used both political activism and lobbying for change in Canadian government’s policy towards Palestine.
Khurram is also a volunteer donor with Connecting Gaza that helps families in Gaza with direct financial and emotional support. He sees emotional support an important aspect of helping people going through severe trauma and genocide.
Khurram was one of the Canadian participants on freedom flotilla vessel Conscience that sailed in October 2025 to challenge and break Israel’s illegal siege on Gaza and open a maritime humanitarian and trade corridor for the people of Palestine. He described the mission in these words: “I see this mission as a ripple of hope which grows with every wave of flotilla. Hope for Palestinians that the world hasn’t forgotten about them and that there are people of conscience out there who are willing to risk everything to stand up in solidarity against a brutal genocidal regime to save an oppressed people, where governments have failed.”
Khurram was previously active in the anti-war movement and was one of founding members of Action Committee Against Arms Race that sought to end nuclear weapons in South Asia and the world.
Khurram was also one of the representatives from Pakistan who attended The Hague Appeal for Peace Conference in 1999 in The Hague that aimed at promoting a culture of peace and justice in the world.
Khurram also met and interviewed Japanese atomic bomb survivors known as hibakushas to create awareness about the devastating impact of atomic and nuclear weapons on the civilian population.
