“No one wants to fight for Israel!” Brian McGinnis, a US marine veteran who served in Iraq, had his arm broken while protesting the US going to war with Iran in support of Israeli interests. Republican senator Tim Sheehy and members of Capitol police dragged McGinnis out of the room while his arm was trapped in a door at a Senate Armed Services subcommittee hearing at the US Capitol. “Israel is the reason for this war. America does not want to fight this war for Israel,” McGinnis said. McGinnis is now a firefighter who is reportedly running as a Green candidate for a Senate seat in North Carolina.
