Remember that on Lemmy.World, hours or a day after that strike, there was an item which was all about how simply by using a 10yo map, that-strike WAS justified, because Iran’s Royal Guard ( or whatever they’re called, who cares ) was using that complex, & it wasn’t a school, then.
I’m massively more likely to believe that professional-soldiers made a mistake ( by not having a checklist which included “update all one’s source-intel before firing!” ), than to believe that they intentionally struck small schoolkids.
( you know that when you order good people to be evil, you create both morale & discipline-problems? )
