Remember, people:

hypersonic means surrounded-by-plasma, on reentry, which means no radar.

You have to be perfectly aimed before re-entering the atmosphere, AND you have to choose your detonation by a time-estimation, because your sensors are blind.

Yeah, it’s fast, but it’s … kinda stupid, tbh.

That Russian hypersonic MIRV that hit Ukraina, with inert pieces-of-metal… ( which apparently just buried themselves deeply in the ground )…

It was sooo fast that nothing could intercept it, yes, but it couldn’t do any aiming once it left space, returning into the atmosphere, & it missed its target.

I’m glad the bad-guys are investing in hypersonics, but I hope that we aren’t!
