Ambrealys is an actress and humanitarian worker. Her work in Ukraine, particularly in Kharkiv and Zaporizhzhia, confronted her with the reality of living under the constant threat of drones and missile attacks. Witnessing the resilience of civilians in war zones profoundly shaped her understanding of solidarity and resistance.
In the face of the genocide in Gaza, she refuses to remain silent. She wants the Palestinian people to know they are not alone — that across the world, people are standing and fighting alongside them. In conscious and unequivocal rejection of her paternal grandfather’s shameful collaboration under the Vichy regime — a betrayal of human dignity and moral courage — she chooses to stand on the side of resistance, joining citizen movements that defend justice, dignity, and peace.
She is also the mother of two young children, Isis and Teilo. She sees their faces in every image coming out of Gaza. She joins this flotilla so that her children, their generation, and those that follow will know that there are people who refuse to look away — people who rise for justice and take action to build a better world.
