MYANMAR: The air force bombed a trading junction — a road junction where locals and lorry drivers gather in an impromptu marketplace — this morning, killing at least 25 people.
The strikes hit Pyaung village near Mindon township in Magway, at a point where locals trade goods with the neighbouring Rakhine region. The areas are controlled by different rebel armies.
