In a statement issued on 28 February 2026, the Tudeh Party of Iran strongly condemned the joint aggressive military attack of US and Israel against Iran:
"Dear Compatriots**!**
Early this morning, our country was attacked by extensive missile and air strikes by the racist Israeli government and the United States. This blatant aggression against Iranian territory occurs while the Iranian and US government officials, with the mediation of regional countries, have been engaged in negotiations over the past few weeks to resolve disputes over Iran’s nuclear program.
Donald Trump, in a video message announcing a “massive military” attack by the US on Iran, declared the goal of this attack to be the destruction of Iran’s nuclear and missile capabilities and, at the same time, regime change in Iran. This aggression against Iranian soil, which will undoubtedly result in the loss of lives of our compatriots and the destruction of the country, has been welcomed by forces such as Reza Pahlavi and the Mujahedin-e Khalq, which is undoubtedly condemned by all the freedom-seeking and national forces of our country.
Following the start of this overt aggression, which is contrary to all international laws against Iran, the Islamic Republic launched retaliatory missile attacks against Israel and US bases in Bahrain, Qatar, Abu Dhabi, Kuwait, Jordan, and Saudi Arabia. Also, according to reports from world news agencies, the Israeli air forces have attacked southern Lebanon and areas near Baghdad on Iraqi soil.
Dear Compatriots**!**
The military aggression of US imperialism and the Israeli government, which is under legal prosecution by the International Court of Justice in The Hague for crimes against humanity, is not only not a harbinger of Iran’s freedom from the yoke of the current tyranny and dictatorship, but is an attempt to destroy Iran as a capable regional country and replace the current government with a dependent and despotic regime that has already announced its program of bloody suppression of its opponents.
The Tudeh Party of Iran calls on all national and freedom-seeking forces of Iran and the peace-loving and progressive forces the world over to join hands in these sensitive and decisive moments with all their power to establish peace and end this aggression of Israel and US imperialism against our homeland. The destruction of Iran is not the way to save the country from the yoke of the current despotic government; this is only possible through the struggle of the people and the freedom-seeking and national forces of the country."

بامداد امروز خاک میهن ما هدف حملات گستردهٔ موشکی و هوایی دولت نژاد پرست اسرائیل و دولت آمریکا قرار گرفت. این تجاوز آشکار به خاک ایران در شرایطی صورت میگیرد که دولت ایران و آمریکا، با پادرمیانی کشورهای منطقه، در هفتههای گذشته مشغول مذاکرات برای حل اختلافات برسر برنامه هستهای ایران بودند.
دونالد ترامپ در پیام ویدویی خود ضمن اعلام حملهٔ «گستردهٔ نظامی» آمریکا به ایران هدف این حمله را از بین بردن توان هستهای و موشکی ایران و در عین حال تغییر رژیم در ایران اعلام کرد. این تجاوز جنایتکارانه به خاک ایران که بیشک با تلفات جانی هممیهنان ما و تخریب کشور روبهرو خواهد بود از سوی نیروهای مزدوری همچون رضا پهلوی و مجاهدین خلق با استقبال روبهرو شده است که بی شک از سوی همه نیروهای آزادی خواه و ملی کشور ما محکوم است. این حمله نقض آشکار حق حاکمیت ملی و استقلال میهن ماست.
در پی آغاز این تجاوز آشکار و مغایر همه قوانین بینالمللی علیه ایران، جمهوری اسلامی حملات موشکی متقابلی را علیه اسرائیل و پایگاههای آمریکا در بحرین، قطر، ابوظبی، کویت، اردن و عربستان سعودی آغاز کرد. همچنین بر اساس گزارشهای خبرگزاریهای جهان نیروهای هوایی اسرائیل به جنوب لبنان و نواحی نزدیک بغداد در خاک عراق حمله کرده است.

تجاوز نظامی امپریالیسم آمریکا و دولت اسرائیل که از سوی دادگاه بینالمللی لاهه به جرم جنایت علیه بشریت تحت تعقیب قانونی است نه تنها بشارت دهندهٔ آزادی ایران از یوغ استبداد و حکومت دیکتاتوری کنونی نیست بلکه تلاشی است برای تخریب ایران به عنوان یک کشور توانمند منطقهای و جانشین کردن رژيم ولایت فقیه با حکومتی وابسته و استبدادی که از هماکنون برنامه سرکوب خونین مخالفان خود را اعلام کرده است.
حزب تودهٔ ایران از همه نیروهای ملی و آزادیخواه ایران وتمام نیروهای صلح دوست و مترقی جهان میخواهد تا در این لحظات حساس و سرنوشت ساز دست در دست هم با همه توان برای برپایی صلح و پایان دادن به این تجاوز اسرائیل و امپریالیسم آمریکا به میهنمان متحد شوند. تخریب ایران راه نجات کشور از یوغ حکومت استبدادی کنونی نیست این امر تنها با مبارزه مردم و نیروهای آزادیخواه و ملی کشور ممکن است.
