President Claudia Sheinbaum on Thursday called out the U.S. for Operation Fast and Furious, a series of sting operations that allowed the flow of thousands of firearms across the border into Mexico and in the hands of drug cartel leaders. Sheinbaum said that 70-80% of illegal weapons seized are of U.S. origin and demanded the U.S. government do more to stop the entry into Mexico.
