The White House is trying to force Anthropic — the company behind AI chatbot Claude — to allow the US military to have unrestricted use of its technology. This would mean that Donald Trump would be able to use its AI tools to automate weapons systems without human control, something Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei has so far resisted.
