With an Algerian father and a Tunisian mother, Yacine has lived in Madrid for 25 years.

His professional experience includes working in sub-Saharan Africa, based in Abidjan, Ivory Coast, developing a project to create jobs and provide the population with access to affordable medicines, and travelling on numerous occasions to conflict zones.

‘I think it is pointless to emphasise the commitment of an Algerian-Tunisian to the fight against colonialism, as the Palestinian cause is deeply rooted in us.’
